Eugenio Derbez is a Mexican television actor, voice actor and director. He voices Chato in The Book of Life.
Derbez is a very successful and famous artist to all of Latin America. To the younger audience, he is mostly recognized because he voices the memorable character "Donkey" in the popular movie franchise "Shrek." He has also created the television series of Al Derecho y Al Derbez , Derbez en cuando, XHDRBZ, Vecinos, and La familia P. Luche. Derbez is also a Formula Three auto racing driver.
